Multi leaders are a versatile tool in Infurnia that allow you to annotate various elements in your flow plans or elevation views clearly and effectively. Here’s a detailed guide on how to use multi leaders for annotations:

Steps to Use Multi Leaders

  1. Activate Multi Leader Tool:

    • Go to the Annotate tab.

    • Select the Multi Leader option to activate the tool.

  2. Select the Object to Annotate:

    • Click on the object you wish to annotate (e.g., Cabinet C21).

    • Click on the desired location where you want the annotation to appear.

    • A multi leader will be added, which includes an arrowhead, a leader line, a landing, and a text box.

  3. Customize the Multi Leader:

    • Press Escape to exit the tool.

    • Click on the multi leader to open the properties in the property panel.

  4. Adjust Leader Properties:

    • Color: Change the color by selecting from the dropdown menu.

    • Line Weight: Adjust the line weight as needed.

    • Line Type: Select the desired line type.

    • Arrowhead Length: Increase or decrease the arrowhead length (default is 70, can be set to 150 or any other value).

  5. Modify Text Properties:

    • Change the text style and color through the text properties section.

    • For example, if you change the text color, the annotation text color will update accordingly.

  6. Add Multi Leader in Elevation Views:

    • Navigate to an elevation view.

    • Select the Multi Leader tool and click on an object (e.g., Cabinet C13).

    • Place the annotation in the desired spot.

    • Press Escape to exit the tool.

    • Click on the multi leader to edit the text (e.g., "Loft Unit").

  7. Annotate Multiple Objects with One Multi Leader:

    • Select the multi leader.

    • Use the Add Leader option to annotate additional objects with the same text.

    • Click on the new objects to link them to the same annotation.

  8. Edit and Remove Leaders:

    • To edit the text, double-click on the multi leader and modify the text as needed (e.g., "Finish to be changed").

    • To remove a leader line, use the Remove Leader option and click on the leader you wish to remove.

    • To remove the entire multi leader, select the Remove Multi Leader option.

By following these steps, you can effectively use multi leaders to create clear and concise annotations for your designs, ensuring that all elements are properly labeled and easily identifiable.
