To add dado tiles to your kitchen wall, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Wall: First, choose the wall where you want to add the dado tiles.

  2. Access the Tiling and Cutting Tool: Navigate to the tiling and cutting tool within your design panel on the left side.

  3. Add the Shape: Within the tiling and cutting tool, locate the "Add Shape" option. Use the line tool to draw the outline of the area you wish to tile. In your specific design, draw the outline around the section where you want to apply the dado tiles.

  4. Apply the Outline: Once you've accurately drawn the outline, click the "Apply" button to confirm your selection.

  5. Give It a Tiling Property: Select the newly created tiling outline and assign it the "Tiling" property in the design panel option.

  6. Customize the Tiling: Next, access the tiling properties to customize the appearance of the dado tiles. Here's how you can adjust various parameters:

    • Tiling Pattern: You can change the style and pattern of the tiles according to your preference. Explore the available tile patterns and select the one that suits your design.

    • Tile Size: If you need to alter the tile dimensions, you can do so by specifying the width and height. For example, you can set the tile size to 200mm x 100mm by entering these dimensions and clicking "Set."

    • Grout Lines: Adjust the thickness of the grout lines in millimeters as per your design requirements.

    • Grout Color: You can specify the color of the grout lines. Choose the shade that complements your tiling pattern.

    • Material Selection: To apply a specific type of wall tile, fetch the desired material from your software's material library. You can explore various wall tile options, or if you have a specific tile in mind, you can search for it.

  7. Finalize and Apply the Tiles: Once you've customized the tiling to your liking, apply the changes. Your chosen dado tiles will now be added to the designated area on the kitchen wall.

By following these steps, you can easily add dado tiles to your kitchen design, giving it a distinctive and stylish look.
