Adjusting Cabinet Labels in Infurnia for Better Visibility

When working on a drawing in Infurnia where multiple cabinets and panels overlap, the labels can become difficult to read. To resolve this issue, you can use the custom label options to reposition and style the labels for better clarity. Here’s how to do it:

Steps to Adjust and Style Labels

  1. Identify the Problem:

    • You have multiple cabinets and a filler, annotated as C1, C2, C3, and F1.

    • The F1 annotation is not clearly visible due to overlapping panels and labels.

  2. Select the Object:

    • Click on the object (cabinet or filler) with the label that is hard to see.

  3. Access Custom Label Options:

    • Go to the Customise option.

    • Select the Label Properties section.

  4. Styling and Customizing Labels:

    • Click on Styling Options and Add Custom Label.

    • The label will move out using a multi-leader line, making it more visible.

  5. Reposition the Label:

    • Drag the label to a clearer spot in your drawing where it is easily visible.

    • For example, move the F1 label to a location where it stands out and is not overlapping with other labels or objects.

  6. Change Label Styling:

    • You can also change the text styling, such as font or color, to make the label more distinguishable.

    • Adjust the font size, style, or color to ensure it is readable and matches your drawing requirements.

Example Scenario

  • Original Setup:

    • Three cabinets (C1, C2, C3) and one filler (F1).

    • F1 label is overlapping and not visible.

  • After Customization:

    • F1 label is moved out using a multi-leader line.

    • The label is now placed where it can be clearly seen.

    • Adjusted the font color to red for better visibility.

By following these steps, you ensure that all annotations in your design are clear and readable, improving the overall quality and accuracy of your drawings.
