How to upload new core material to the Catalogue?
Updated over a week ago

To add a new core material to your catalog in the admin portal, follow these steps:

  1. Access the admin portal for your organization.

  2. Navigate to the "Catalogue" section.

  3. Under "Catalogue," you will find different categories, including "Hardware." Click on the Ply category therein.

  4. If you want to add the core material to an existing subcategory, go to that subcategory and proceed to the next step. If you need to create a new subcategory, click on "Add Subcategory." Provide a name for the subcategory, set its order (the order in which it will be displayed in your catalog), and click "Submit."

  5. Inside the subcategory, click on "Add Group" to create a new finish group. Name the group (e.g., "8 mm BWR Ply"). Set the order for the group and click "Add."

  6. Once the group is created, you can further specify a particular SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) within that group. Click on "Add SKU." Provide a name for the SKU and description as well.

  7. Mention the product thickness to specify the material thickness, brand, or any other relevant information.

  8. Under the "Info" section, you can specify material details. Choose the material type (e.g., laminate) and its base texture. Upload a high-resolution digital image of the finish by clicking "Upload." This image should represent the finish accurately.

  9. You can adjust material specifications such as roughness if needed. Once you've added the material details, click "Submit."

  10. Now, the SKU is added to your group. You can manage various properties related to this SKU, including pricing. Set prices and configure default sales channels, or add more sales channels as needed.

  11. Save your changes.

By following these steps, you can effectively add a new core material to your catalog, making it accessible to designers working on your projects. This allows for better catalog organization and design customization.
