If you wish to associate a specific core material with a particular back panel material, you can easily do so through the following steps:
Step 1: Access Hardware in Catalogue
Go to the "Hardware" section in your catalogue.
Step 2: Open Ply Options
Within hardware, choose the "Ply" category.
Step 3: Select Core Material (e.g., 25mm BWR Ply)
Pick the core material you want to link. For example, select "25mm BWR Ply."
Step 4: Go to SKU Properties
Within the chosen core material, access the "SKU Properties."
Step 5: Link to Back Panel Material
Find the "Linked SKU" option and select it. Since you are linking a back panel core material, choose "Hardware" and then "Ply."
Step 6: Choose Ply Subcategory
Select the subcategory of ply you want to link. For instance, pick "BWR Ply."
Step 7: Specify Ply Group and SKU
Choose the specific group and SKU of the ply. For example, select "6mm BWR Ply."
Step 8: Define Type (e.g., Back Panel Core Material)
Specify the type of linking you want. In this case, choose "Back Panel Core Material."
Step 9: Update Linked SKU
Complete the process by updating the linked SKU.
Now, whenever the selected 25mm BWR Ply is used as a core material in any cabinet, the back panel core material will automatically be tagged as 6mm BWR Ply.
Additional Notes:
Ensure you own the SKU you are trying to link. If it's not owned (owned by Infurnia by default), consider cloning the SKU first.
After creating the linking, refresh your design portal to see the updated SKU.
The linked core material will now be available for use in your cabinets with the associated back panel material.
By following these steps, you can efficiently link core materials to specific back panel materials, enhancing customization in your designs.
