What is work order ?

Work order is any project that has passed the design phase and is now ready for production.

When to create it?

A work order can be created after the design has been finalised and all the cabinet's hardwares placed , board layout are verified and rectified if there are any violations.

How to create it?

A work order can be created in the MES portal directly by pasting the design file link by anyone who has production designer access. The work order can then be verified in the MES portal (or MES design branch file) and then be published.

Types of work orders

Unpublished work orders

  • Outputs cannot be downloaded unless work order is published

  • Design changes can be made in unpublished work orders.

  • Only people with production designer can access

Published work order

  • Outputs can be downloaded only from published work orders

  • Design changes cannot be made in published work orders.

  • People who have MES admin, production designer and MES operator can access
