MES User Access Guide
Updated over a month ago

There are new access levels available for the MES portal . There are 3 new roles available -

  1. MES admin

  • Can assign role of production designer and Mes Operator to users

  • They can map the user to different stations and see an overview of which user is mapped to which station

  • They can also add new users to the organisation to only give MES admin or operator access or add existing users from the organisation to the MES portal

For example- Factory owners and design leads can be admin in order to assign the right users to the right station and get an overview of the projects and different stations.

2. Production Designer (Earlier called MES editor)

A production designer can create and access unpublished work orders and edit the same before publishing it.

Example- This role can be assigned to production managers who are responsible to verify designs and send it for production.

3. MES Operator (Earlier called MES user)

An MES operator can only see published work order and download outputs, they cannot edit work order or access unpublished ones.

For example - CNC operators can be assigned this role so they can download outputs relevant to their station.

View limitation to mapped stations- Only assigned users to the particular station can scan the panels in that station. For example if user X was assigned access to panel cutting station they can only scan the panels that have been cut for tracking.
