In Infurnia's MES portal, you can re-sync your work order with the latest changes made in your design file. This ensures that any modifications made after creating the work order are reflected in the manufacturing process. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to re-sync a work order with design changes:

Steps to Re-sync a Work Order

  1. Initial Setup:

    • Complete the designing of your project.

    • Create a work order once the design is finalized and ready for manufacturing.

  2. Making Changes to the Design:

    • If modifications are needed after creating the work order, make the necessary changes in the design file.

    • Example: Add two more cabinets to the existing design.

  3. Opening the Work Order:

    • Go to the MES Portal.

    • Open the work order that was previously created for the project.

  4. Re-syncing with the Design:

    • In the work order, locate and select the Re-sync with Design option.

    • A confirmation prompt will appear, notifying you that the current work order will be overridden with the design changes.

    • Confirm the re-sync if you are sure about the changes.

  5. Reviewing the Design Sync Summary:

    • After confirming, a design sync summary will be displayed.

    • The summary will list all the changes made, such as newly added units or modified components.

    • Example: The summary shows newly added units C3 and C4.

  6. Verifying the Changes:

    • Close the design sync summary window.

    • Review the updated work order to ensure all changes are correctly reflected.

    • Verify and enable the newly added units for manufacturing as needed.

Example Scenario

  1. Initial Design:

    • Original work order created with two cabinets.

  2. Design Changes:

    • Added two more cabinets to the design file.

  3. Re-sync Process:

    • Select Re-sync with Design.

    • Confirm the re-sync action.

  4. Design Sync Summary:

    • Summary shows newly added units C3 and C4.

  5. Updated Work Order:

    • Work order now displays four cabinets.

    • New cabinets are unverified by default; proceed to verify and enable them for manufacturing.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and update your work orders in Infurnia, ensuring that all design modifications are accurately incorporated into the manufacturing process.
