How to mark fixed or adjustable shelves?
Updated over a week ago

Individual Shelf Modification:

  1. Specify the shelf

    • Click on Edit SKU Structure to open the SKU at a component level or simply open the design file in your design portal (if you are modifying for particular design only).

    • Select the specific shelf you want to modify.

  2. Set Shelf Type:

    • Go to the Panel tab.

    • In the Type option, select either Fixed or Adjustable:

      • Fixed: The shelf will cover the entire space between the two side panels.

      • Adjustable: The shelf can be taken out, and there will be a reduction in width on both sides to allow for this adjustability.

  3. Verify Shelf Parameters:

    • For a fixed shelf, there will be no reduction in width and depth.

    • For an adjustable shelf, go to the Construction tab and check the Extension Parameters:

      • The width would have a default reduction of 0.5mm on both sides to allow the shelf to be adjustable, which can be modified if needed.

Changing Default Adjustable Shelf Reduction:

  1. Open Admin Portal Preferences:

    • Navigate to the preferences settings under the admin portal.

  2. Modify Adjustable Shelf Reduction:

    • Open the Cabinet Preferences section.

    • Go to the Construction section and then open the Carcass section.

    • Find the Adjustable Shelf Extension option.

    • Click on the dropdown to see the current Infurnia default of -0.5mm.

  3. Update Default Reduction Value:

    • Click on the edit tool option to change the reduction value.

    • Input the new desired value, e.g., -1mm.

    • Update the settings.

  4. Effect of New Setting:

    • Moving forward, any new adjustable shelf marked in your design panel will have the updated reduction value applied.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage and modify the type of shelves (fixed or adjustable) in your SKUs, ensuring they meet your design and construction standards.
