Modifying Back Panel Grooving in Admin Portal

For Single Cabinet Modification:

  1. Access the SKU:

    • Open the SKU you want to modify in your admin portal.

    • Ensure the SKU is an owned cabinet to open the SKU structure.

  2. Edit SKU Structure:

    • Select the particular SKU and click on Edit SKU structure.

    • This will open up the component editor view for that particular cabinet.

  3. Modify the Back Panel Offset:

    • Click on the back panel and go to the panel level option.

    • In the construction tab, click on the drop-down for extension parameters.

    • You will see options for width extension and depth extension. Open both of them.

  4. Adjust Extension Parameters:

    • By default, a 5 mm extension is considered for back panel grooving.

    • Modify this value as per your construction standards. For example, change it to 10mm.

    • The back panel on the left side will extend by 10mm.

  5. Verify Dimensions:

    • The total width of the cabinet is 500mm.

    • Side panels have a thickness of 18mm each. So, 500mm - 18mm (left) - 18mm (right) = 464mm (inner distance).

    • With extensions (10mm on the left and 5mm on the right), the finished width becomes 479mm.

    • Confirm by checking the dimensions of the back panel.

  6. Save Changes:

    • Once modifications are made, save the changes to the component.

For Bulk Modification of Multiple Cabinets:

  1. Select Group of Cabinets:

    • If you want to apply the modification to multiple cabinets, select the entire group or multiple groups as needed.

  2. Initiate Bulk Action:

    • At the top right corner, click on Bulk action.

    • Select Bulk edit SKU structure.

    • Verify the selections for cross-checking.

  3. Edit Back Panel Grooving:

    • In the bulk edit interface, navigate to the cabinet section.

    • Enter the value for back panel grooving (e.g., 7mm).

    • This will create a uniform extension of 7mm on all sides of the back panel for all selected cabinets.

  4. Confirm and Publish:

    • Proceed to confirmation and publish the changes.

    • You will receive a confirmation email once the bulk edit is successful.

  5. Verify Bulk Changes:

    • Refresh the admin portal and select any of the modified cabinets.

    • Check the Edit SKU structure.

    • Confirm that the back panel extension parameters reflect the new value (e.g., 7mm on all sides).

By following these steps, you can effectively modify the back panel extensions for individual or multiple cabinets within your admin portal.
