Customizing Field Names in Cut-List Outputs

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Generate Cut-List Output:

    • Enable your units for manufacturing and navigate to the Outputs section.

    • Select Cut-Lists and choose the type of cut-list you need: General, Biesse, or KDT.

  2. Access Cut-List Settings:

    • On the bottom right of your screen, click on Cut-List Settings.

  3. Modify Field Names:

    • Select the cut-list type you are generating (e.g., General).

    • Click on the Fields drop-down to see all the fields in the cut-list.

    • Each field has a Default Name and a Name section.

    • To change the name of a field, double-click on the Name section.

    • Enter the revised name. For example, change Finish Length to Length of Finish.

    • Similarly, modify other fields as needed (e.g., Finish Width, Finish Thickness).

    • Save your preferences.

  4. Review Updated Cut-List:

    • The cut-list will now display the updated field names according to your changes.

  5. Set Default Field Names at Admin Level:

    • To ensure uniform changes across all cut-lists in your organization, go to the Admin Portal.

    • Navigate to Preferences and Settings > Preferences > Cut List.

    • Select the cut-list type (e.g., General).

    • Click on the Fields section and then on the Edit Details button.

    • Modify the field names as needed and submit the changes.

  6. Refresh Existing Work Orders:

    • For existing work orders to reflect these changes, go to Cut-List Settings.

    • Select Refresh from Admin to update the work orders with the current details from your admin portal.

By following these steps, you can customize the field names in your cut-list outputs and set default preferences in the Infurnia MES Portal. This ensures that the field names are clear and relevant to your specific requirements, improving the clarity and usability of your cut-list reports.
