How to add wall paneling?
Updated over a week ago

To add wall panels, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Wall: First, choose the wall where you want to add the panels.

  2. Access the Tiling and Cutting Tool: Navigate to the tiling and cutting tool within your design panel on the left side.

  3. Add the Shape: Within the tiling and cutting tool, locate the "Add Shape" option. Use the line tool to draw the outline of the area you wish to tile. In your specific design, draw one panel.

  4. Array the panel across wall: Window-select the shape, and select "Copy" in the toolbar. In the left panel, select mode as Multiply straight, specify the c-c distance/number of louvers, select the base point, and array the panel.

  5. Apply the Outline: Once you've accurately drawn the outline, click the "Apply" button to confirm your selection. In the modal that pops up, select "Save as One Entity" to avoid assigning the same properties to each and every panel. To give each panel a separately editable property, select "Save as {Number} Entities".

  6. Give It a Extrude Property: Select the newly created tiling outline and assign it the "Extrude" property in the design panel option.

  7. Assign it a Thickness: Under Depth field, type in the desired panel thickness.

  8. Shift the panels: Under Front Shift, specify the distance by which you want to shift the panels ahead of the wall. Specify 0 for panels touching wall surface.

  9. Material Selection: To apply a specific type , fetch the desired material from your software's material library. You can explore various options, or if you have a specific material in mind, you can search for it.

  10. Finalize and Apply: Once you've customized the panels, select the Back to Designing arrow at the top right. You will return to your design with the panels added.
