In the lefthand panel that opens, set the Drawing Mode to Single Section.

Specify the riser height, tread depth and stair width.

Further down, under Staircase section, set the Bottom offset to be the negative value of the base thickness, to start the staircase lower.

Adjust the Top offset to be negative of the (Wall height - top floorbase thickness) to be such that the number of steps showing under No. of Steps is correct.

Click on the desired start location point and then on the desired end point, to draft the staircase.
