How to create glass partitions or curtain walls using modular window

Updated over a week ago

To add a modular window in Infurnia, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Floorplan view.

  2. Click on the "Window" dropdown, which is available on the Home ribbon or the Architecture Ribbon, and select 'Modular Window'.

  3. A default window will appear, and your cursor will turn into a window placement tool.

  4. In the lefthand panel that opens, the parameters of the modular window will appear for you to change in advance. Under the Window Type dropdown menu, select Single Casement. Place the window in the desired location.

  5. Make the window full height by selecting the window, selecting the Modular Window tab by the lefthand panel, and changing the values for Height (value= wall height) and Elevation (0).

  6. Disable the Window Casing, Window Frame and Window Sash by going to their corresponding tabs and unchecking the Enable box(es) for each.

  7. Select Window Pane tab to open its properties, and navigate to Mullion Properties, and enter the following values desired into the Rows and Columns fields.

For Glass partition,

Rows value = 1 (meaning no horizontal divisions)

Columns value= Number of vertical divisions required in the glass

For Curtain Wall,

Rows value = Number of horizontal divisions required in the glass

Columns value= Number of vertical divisions required in the glass
