Publishing Templates for Panel Labels in MES Portal

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Verify and Enable Cabinets:

    • Ensure that the required cabinets for your work order are verified and enabled for manufacturing.

  2. Access Panel Labels:

    • Navigate to the Outputs section.

    • Select Panel Labels.

  3. Customize Panel Labels:

    • Field Visibility and Order:

      • Toggle visibility of fields by turning them on or off.

      • Example: Turn on the Project ID field to display it in the panel label.

      • Rearrange the order of the fields by dragging them.

      • Example: Move Project ID to the fourth position.

    • Property Settings:

      • Adjust properties such as width, height, and panel size accuracy.

      • Define cut size and finished size based on your cut-list and machine requirements.

      • Modify panel label size by entering desired width and height (e.g., 200mm x 150mm).

      • Add border space on all sides (e.g., 10mm on each side).

      • Set line spacing between fields (e.g., 3mm between columns).

      • Specify padding (e.g., 10mm vertical and horizontal).

      • Adjust font size (e.g., 9mm).

  4. Machine Compatibility:

    • Select the machine type you are using (e.g., Homag, Biesse, SCM, Felder) or choose manual output.

  5. Publish as Template:

    • Once customization is complete, you can publish the panel label as a template.

    • Creating a New Template:

      • Click on the option to add a new panel label or update an existing one.

      • Specify a category, subcategory, group, and SKU, similar to creating a cabinet.

      • Example:

        • Category: Test Panel Label

        • Subcategory: Test 1

        • Group: Group 1

        • SKU Name: Sample Tool

    • Save the Template:

      • Click on Publish to save the panel label template.

    • Selecting from Catalogue:

      • Once published, you can select the template from the catalogue in the future.

      • Example: Choose Panel Label Sample 2 from the catalogue to generate panel labels according to the saved template.

  6. Download Panel Labels:

    • After selecting the desired template, download the panel labels in PDF format.

By following these steps, you can customize, publish, and download panel labels tailored to your specific requirements, ensuring consistency and accuracy for your manufacturing process.
