Viewing and Downloading Board Layouts for Manual and CNC Cutting
Step-by-Step Guide
Enable Cabinets for Manufacturing:
Ensure that you have verified your cabinets and enabled them for manufacturing.
Access Board Layout:
Go to the Outputs section on the left-hand side.
Select Board Layout.
Generate Board Layout:
Click on Board Layout to generate it.
The board layout will be displayed.
Toggle Between Manual and CNC Modes:
On the top right corner of your screen, you can toggle between two modes:
Manual Option:
Select this if you are doing manual cutting of your boards.
You can download the board layout in PDF format.
NC Mode:
Select this if you are using a CNC machine for cutting.
The .NC output will be generated.
NC Mode Details:
In NC mode, you will see all the details of drilling and routing specified in the tools.
This mode provides the output for the CNC machine.
Play Option for NC Mode:
Use the Play option to see the actual operations that will occur on each board.
Follow the black dot to see the sequence of operations, such as drilling and routing.
Operation Visualization:
Clicking Play shows the drilling process followed by routing.
Example: A 4mm router in slot 4 is cutting panels along the blue lines.
Downloading Board Layout:
Manual Mode:
Download the board layout in PDF format for manual cutting.
NC Mode:
Download the .NC files for CNC machine cutting.
This includes details of drills and routes for the CNC operations.
By following these steps, you can efficiently generate, view, and download board layouts for both manual and CNC cutting methods, ensuring accurate and optimized cutting operations.
