Changing material of shutter division

Updated over a week ago

To create a multicolored shutter, you will first need to create shutter divisions, to which you then assign different materials. To do so, please refer to this link:

To change the color of one of the divisions,

  1. Select the Specific Shutter Division:

    • Click on the shutter division you want to modify. It should be highlighted once selected.

  2. Access Panel Options:

    • Look for the "Panel" option, usually located in the customization or editing menu for the cabinet.

  3. Choose Material Source:

    • In the panel options, find the "Material Source" dropdown menu.

    • By default, it will be set to "Shutter," meaning it inherits the material from the cabinet's shutter settings.

  4. Select Material Source:

    • Click on the dropdown menu and choose the desired material source.

      • If you want the panel to match the carcass material, select "Carcass."

      • If you want to apply a different material specifically to this panel, select "Self."

  5. Customize Material:

    • Once "Self" is selected, additional customization options will become available.

    • You can now modify the external and internal finishes, as well as the edge banding details as needed.

  6. Change Material:

    • To change the material, select the option to fetch from the store or choose from available options.

    • For example, you can select "American Maple" from the options provided, and the material will be applied to the selected shutter panel.
