Updated over a week ago

To create inset sliding shutter wardrobe, follow these steps:

  1. Add a wardrobe from the catalogue:

    Select Insert<Furnish<All<Wardrobe

  2. Change Shutter Mechanism to a sliding shutter mechanism

    1. Begin by selecting the cabinet that you want to change the shutter mechanism for.

    2. Look for the menu labeled "Shutter Systems" on the right of the design panel. It would be arranged in a vertical order as Cabinet>Partition>Shutter System>Shutter> Panel etc. Click on it to access the settings related to shutter systems.

    3. Within the "Shutter Systems" menu, you will find the "Shutter Mechanism" option. This option may be available under both the "Quick Access" section and the "Construction" section, making it convenient for you to access.

    4. Click on the drop down menu to access the various options available in which choose 2-door, 3-door or 4-door sliding.

  3. Translate Shutter Panels: One or more shutters need to be receded as the 'inset' shutter, while the rest of the shutters are to be shifted backwards to be flush with the carcass.

  • Receding the Inset Shutter:

    1. Select the shutter and navigate to the Panel section in the properties panel.

    2. Open the Translate Panel dropdown menu

    3. Type in the the value "-(panel thickness+ distance of panel from carcass)", into the Z field. For example, if the panel thickness is 18 mm, and the panel distance from the carcass is 24, then the value to be type in is -(18+24), which is -42.

  • Receding the Outer Shutter:

    1. Select the shutter and navigate to the Panel section in the properties panel.

    2. Open the Translate Panel dropdown menu

    3. Type in the the value "-(distance of panel from carcass)", into the Z field. For example, if the panel distance from the carcass is 54, then the value to be type in is -54.
