Difference between Cabinet and Wardrobe
Difference between Cabinet and Wardrobe
Updated over a week ago

There are several differences between a wardrobe and cabinet in terms of construction. They are as follows:

I. Height calculation for cabinets vs wardrobes

  1. Please note that for base units, the height is calculated without skirting and countertop thickness. For example, if the height is specified as 720mm that total height of the entire cabinet will be 720mm (cabinet height) + 100mm (skirting height) + 40mm (countertop thickness). Also, 12mm thickness of floor tile will be added as the elevation of the cabinet by default.

  2. For wall units, it will be considered as the height of the cabinet alone, without any cornice/ pelmets added to it.

  1. For wardrobes, the height will be considered along with skirting height. So, if your wardrobe height is 2100mm, then the 100mm skirting height will be part of this 2100mm dimension.
