Updated over a week ago

In Infurnia, you can set preferences for your designs, allowing you to customize various aspects of your furniture and interior design elements before you start adding cabinets. Here's how to set design preferences:

  1. In the bottom left of your screen, locate the "Global Preferences and Settings" section.

  2. Click on the "Preferences" option in this section.

  3. You will be presented with options to set your preferences for different areas of your design.

  4. Choose the area for which you want to specify preferences. For example, you can select "Cabinet" to set preferences for kitchen design elements.

  5. Once you select an area, you can specify preferences for various components. For example, in the "Carcass" tab, you can set preferences for core materials, back core material, external finish, internal finish, and edge binding for kitchen carcasses.

  6. To specify a preference, you can enable the toggle option, and then select the desired material or finish from the available options.

  7. You can also set preferences for other components like shutters, handles, countertops, and skirting based on your design requirements.

  8. After setting your preferences, they will be applied to any cabinet you are adding in your design after setting the preferences. For example, if you specify the external finish of the shutter as "American maple," all cabinets and furniture with shutters will have this finish by default when they get added to the design.

  9. These preferences streamline the design process by ensuring that newly added elements conform to your chosen settings.

  10. You can set preferences for different areas and components like wardrobes, and these settings will apply to the respective furniture and design elements you create.

By customizing your design preferences, you can efficiently design and create furniture and interiors in accordance with your specific style and requirements.
