To add a cuboidal column to your floor plan, first select Architecture tab and select Cuboidal columns from the Column drop down arrow in the Architecture ribbon .

Once you’re in the column mode, move your mouse, the column will move along with it. It will automatically stick to different layers of each wall. Move your mouse to where you want to place the column. Click once to place it there.
