To clone a particular SKU, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Catalogue

  • Go to the specific group where the SKU is located.

Step 2: Select the SKU to Clone

  • Choose the SKU you want to clone within the group.

Step 3: Access Settings and Clone SKU

  • Click on the "Settings" option. Here, you will find the "Clone SKU" option.

  • Choose the appropriate cloning option:

    • Clone SKU in Same Group: To clone the SKU within the same group.

    • Clone SKU in New Group: To create a new group and clone the SKU into it.

    • Clone SKU in Any Group: To clone the SKU into an existing group.

Step 4: Specify Subcategory for New Group

  • If you selected the "Clone SKU in New Group" option, choose the subcategory for the new group (e.g., shutter unit) and click "Submit."

Step 5: Name the New SKU and Group

  • Provide a name for the new SKU (e.g., XXX).

  • Optionally, name the new group.

  • If you want to clone sales channel, mapping, and pricing of the original SKU, tick the corresponding option.

Step 6: Submit and View Cloned SKU

  • Click "Submit" to complete the cloning process.

  • The SKU will be cloned into a new group, and you will see that it is now owned by you, allowing modifications to its properties and structure.

By following these steps, you can efficiently clone an existing SKU, create variations, and make modifications to suit your design requirements.
