Infurnia allows you to create custom floor base shapes and edit them to suit your design needs. To create a custom floor base shape and make any necessary modifications, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Floor Level in 2D view in Infurnia.

  2. Click on the "Floor" icon in the Global Preferences and Settings bar, located in the bottom left corner of your workspace. Make sure you are on the Floor Level where you want to work on the floor base shape.

  3. Within the floor settings panel, find the "Floor Base" section and click on the "Floor Base" drop-down menu. By default, the construction method is set to "Automatic."

  4. To create a custom floor base shape, click on the "Use Custom Shape" option.

  5. You can now modify the shape using the Sketcher mode. Click on "Apply" in the left panel to save your custom floor base shape.

  6. If you later need to edit the custom floor base shape, go to the "Floor Base" menu in the 2D view and select "Use Custom Shape" again. Make the necessary changes to the shape using the Sketcher mode.

  7. After making your changes, click on "Apply" in the left panel to save the modified custom floor base shape.

  8. If you want to revert to the default floor base shape, simply click on "Use Automatic Shape" in the "Floor Base" menu. This will set the floor base shape back to the default automatic construction method.

By following these steps, you can create and customize floor base shapes to precisely match the layout and design requirements of your project.
