How to add DWG drawings to Infurnia?

Import AutoCAD file to track the floor plan from.

Updated over a week ago
  1. Begin by opening the Floor View, which can be found in the Level Navigation tab located at the top right.

  2. After you have entered the Floor View, proceed to the Global Settings and Preferences section on the left bottom of your screen.

  3. Within the Global Settings and Preferences, you'll find an option called "Floor Settings."

  4. In the Floor Settings, you'll notice a parameter called "Tracing Background." Click on the drop-down menu located next to it. And select the "DWG File" tab.

  5. Choose "Upload/Change DWG" option which will open your system's storage for you to select and upload any .dwg file into your design file.

  6. Select the required file and it will be added to your workspace.

Things to note:
1. Ensure that you don't not have stray lines in your .dwg file which might create issues in your import. Only your floor plan should be in the file your are trying to import.

2. Ensure the unit of the .dwg file and the unit of your design file on Infurnia is the same.
