Shifting and elevating a window

Updated over a week ago

Using a Mouse

To move a door, click once to select it. Now click and hold the left key of your mouse, then move your mouse along the wall where you want to place the door. Once you’ve reached the exact location of the door, click once to place the door.

Using Shift

You can also move the door very precisely using the Shift option. To do this, first click on the door to open its properties panel. You will see the numbers 1 and 2 on either side of the door in the floorplan view. These represent the directions you can move the door in along the wall.

Go to the Shift field in the panel, choose the direction you want to shift towards by clicking on the dropdown arrow below the Shift field, and selecting the required direction number. The direction is marked with arrow points next to the door once you go into the Shift option. Now enter the value you want to shift the door by, and press Enter to apply changes.

Elevation

To move the door upwards or downwards, go to the Elevation field. Add in the value for how high you want the door to be from the floor, and press Enter to apply changes.
