Entering the Mid-State
Click on the false ceiling you wish to edit, and select the Create False Ceiling Option in the left panel. you will enter the mid-state
Edit Type, Depth and Distance from Ceiling Face
Click on the ceiling shape to select it, go to the properties menu in the left panel.
To change the type, click on the drop-down arrow in the menu under the Type field. In the drop-down menu that opens, you can select between Extrude, Tiling and Cut by clicking on any of the three.
To change the depth, enter the desired value under the Depth field. To reverse the depth to be behind the ceiling face instead of ahead of it, type in the negative value of the depth by which you want it to extend.
(Note: For Cut type it is the other way round; the positive value will extend it into the wall, negative value will extend it ahead of the wall.)
To change the distance of the ceiling base from the ceiling face, type in the value of the required distance under the Front Shift field. To reverse the shift, type in the negative value of the desired distance.
Delete False Ceiling
Click on the ceiling shape to select it, then click on the Delete Shape option in the lefthand panel.
Exiting the Mid-State
Click on the Back to Designing arrow in the top right to save changes.
