Modifying Edge Construction of SKUs in Admin Portal
Steps to Modify Edge Construction for a Single SKU:
Open the Admin Portal:
Navigate to the Catalogue option under the furniture section.
Select the SKU:
Open any of the SKUs where you want to make the modification.
Ensure the SKU has an Owned tag next to it.
Click on the dropdown to select the desired SKU.
Open the Edit SKU Structure.
Edit SKU Structure:
This will open the SKU at a component level.
Select the cabinet and turn off the countertop for better visibility.
Observe the edge constructions of the cabinet. Note how the side panels are extended till the top, and the top and bottom panels are placed in between them.
Modify Edge Construction:
Select the cabinet and go into the Construction section.
Under the Carcass section, find the Construction dropdown.
This dropdown will show different edge types (e.g., left bottom edge, left top edge, right bottom edge, etc.).
Select the edge type you want to modify.

Change Edge Type:
For example, if you select the Left Top Edge, the current construction might show the left panel placed over the top panel.
Change it to Top on Left to have the top panel placed over the left panel.
The cut-list will update accordingly.

Save Changes:
Make the necessary modifications for other edge types as needed.
Save the changes once all desired modifications are made.
Steps to Modify Edge Construction for Multiple SKUs in Bulk:
Select Multiple SKUs:
In the Base Unit section, select the entire group of SKUs you want to modify.
Initiate Bulk Action:
Click on Bulk Action and select Bulk Edit SKU Structure.
Confirm the selection in the preview shown.
Proceed to Bulk Editing:
Under the Cabinet section, scroll down to find the Construction section.
You will see the same edge type options (e.g., left on bottom edge, left on top edge, right on bottom edge, etc.).
Modify the construction logic as required. For example, to change the default Left on Top construction to Top on Left, set Left on Top Edge to false.
Confirm and Publish:
Proceed to confirmation and review the modifications.
Click Publish Changes and exit.
Verify Changes:
The bulk edit should be successful.
Open any of the SKUs that were part of the bulk edit.
Verify that the edge construction has been updated as per the modifications.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and update the edge constructions of both individual and multiple SKUs in your admin portal, ensuring they align with your construction standards.
