Modifying Back Panel Offset in Admin Portal

Step-by-Step Guide

For Single Cabinet Modification:

  1. Access the SKU:

    • Open the SKU you want to modify in your admin portal.

    • Ensure the SKU is an owned cabinet to open the SKU structure.

  2. Edit SKU Structure:

    • Select the particular SKU and click on Edit SKU structure.

    • This will open the component editor view for the cabinet.

  3. Modify Back Panel Offset:

    • Click on the back panel of the cabinet.

    • Go to the Panel Level option and then to the Construction tab.

    • In the Back Panel section, you can toggle the visibility on or off.

    • Modify the offset value in mm as needed (default is 20mm).

    • Input the desired numerical value (e.g., 50mm).

    • To verify, turn off the visibility of the top panel to see the back panel’s position.

    • Measure from the front to the back edge of the cabinet to ensure the offset is correctly applied.

  4. Save Modifications:

    • Click on the save option on the right side.

    • Confirm the save to apply the changes to the component.

For Bulk Modification Across Multiple Cabinets:

  1. Select Cabinets:

    • Ensure all cabinets in the group are owned.

    • Select the group(s) you want to modify.

  2. Initiate Bulk Edit:

    • At the top right corner, click on Bulk Action.

    • Select Bulk Edit SKU Structure.

    • Cross-verify the selected SKUs in the preview.

  3. Edit Back Panel Offset:

    • Proceed to editing and ensure you are in the Cabinet section.

    • Input the desired offset value in mm for the property marked as Back Panel Offset.

  4. Publish Changes:

    • Confirm and publish the change.

    • A bulk edit operation will be triggered.

    • You will receive a confirmation email upon completion.

  5. Verify Changes:

    • Refresh the admin portal.

    • Select one of the modified SKUs and go to Edit SKU Structure.

    • Check the Panel Level construction to confirm the offset is updated.

Important Notes:

  • Offset Calculation: The offset is from the front of the panel to the edge. Consider the core material and laminate thickness while calculating the offset.

  • Confirmation: Ensure all changes are saved and verified through confirmation prompts and emails.

By following these steps, you can effectively modify the back panel offset for individual or multiple cabinets in your admin portal.
