To add niche to any side of a cuboidal column in Infurnia, follow these steps:

<b>Step 1: Select the Cuboidal Column</b>

In the design view, select the target side of the cuboidal column.

On the left-hand side, locate the "Column Section" tab.

<b>Step 3:</b> In the design panel, locate the "Tiling and Cutting" tool.

Click on the "Tiling and Cutting" tool to enter the drafting portal, where you can add a shape to create the cutout.

Select the "Add Shape" option within the drafting portal.

Choose a drawing tool, such as the line tool, and use it to enclose the shape of the cutout you want to create.

Select the created shape within the drafting portal, and in the properties section, assign the property "Cut" to the shape. This property defines that the shape will act as a cutout in the wall.

Specify the depth of the cutout. In your case, if the column's depth is 150mm, you can set the cutout depth to be less.

After configuring the depth, return to your drafting portal.

You will now see that the niche has been created in the column

1. Click on the "Tiling and Cutting" tool to enter the drafting portal, where you can add a shape to create the cutout.
2. Select the "Add Shape" option within the drafting portal.
3. Choose a drawing tool, such as the line tool, and use it to enclose the shape of the cutout you want to create.
4. Click "Apply" to create the shape.
5. Select the created shape within the drafting portal, and in the properties section, assign the property "Cut" to the shape. This property defines that the shape will act as a cutout in the wall.
6. Specify the depth of the cutout. In your case, if the column's depth is 150mm, you can set the cutout depth to be less.
7. After configuring the depth, return to your drafting portal.
8. You will now see that the niche has been created in the column
