How to filter your catalogue in the carousel?
Updated over a week ago

When using the Furnish tool or selecting finishes from the store carousel in your design software, you can apply filters to narrow down the options displayed. Here's how you can use filters effectively:

  1. Open the Carousel:

    • Whenever you access the Furnish tool or select finishes, the carousel opens up, displaying available options.

  2. Access Filter Options:

    • Look for the filter icon, typically located within the carousel interface. Click on this icon to open the filtering module.

  3. Filter by Catalogue:

    • Within the filtering module, you'll find options in the dropdown to filter items belonging to User Catalogue, Org Catalogue or both.

    • Select the appropriate option. Only items in that catalogue will be displayed.

  4. Filter by Tags:

    • Within the filtering module, you'll find options to filter by tags. Tags are metadata assigned to items in your catalog.

    • Select specific tags to filter the carousel options. Only items tagged with the selected criteria will be displayed.

  5. Filter by Sales Channel:

    • You can also filter items based on the sales channel they belong to. This ensures that only items designated for specific sales channels are shown.

    • Choose the desired sales channel from the options provided to filter the carousel accordingly.

  6. Filter by Brand:

    • Another filtering option is to filter items based on their brand. This is helpful if you're looking for items from a particular brand or manufacturer.

    • Select the brand you're interested in to filter out items from other brands.

  7. Select Filter Logic:

    • Decide whether you want to use a single filter (OR logic) or multiple filters (AND logic).

    • If you choose OR logic, items matching any of the selected criteria will be shown.

    • If you choose AND logic, items must match all selected criteria to be displayed.

  8. Apply Filters:

    • After selecting your filter criteria, apply the filters.

    • The carousel will then show only the relevant options based on your chosen filters.

  9. Review Filtered Options:

    • Once the filters are applied, review the carousel to see the narrowed-down selection of items.

    • You'll only see items that meet the specified criteria, making it easier to find what you need.

By utilizing these filtering options, you can efficiently navigate through your catalog and find the specific items you're looking for without being overwhelmed by irrelevant choices.
