How to select multiple items in 2D view?
How to select multiple items in 2D view?
Updated over a week ago

In a 2D design view, you can use the mouse or touchpad to select elements using different selection methods. Here's how these methods work:

  1. Individual selection: Press the Ctrl key in Window (cmd key in Mac) and while pressing it, click on the elements you. want to multi-select.

  2. Blue Selection Square (Left to Right):

    • Click and hold the left mouse button.

    • Drag your cursor from left to right.

    • A blue selection square will form, selecting only the elements that are completely inside the square.

  3. Green Selection Square (Right to Left):

    • Click and hold the left mouse button.

    • Drag your cursor from right to left.

    • A green selection square will form, selecting all the elements that are either completely or partially inside the square.

These selection methods are useful for precisely choosing the elements you want to work with in your 2D design. The blue selection square is handy when you need to select only those elements that are entirely within the square, while the green selection square allows you to select elements that are partially inside as well.
