A tiling zone specifies the area that tiling will cover, pattern of the tiles in it, the dimensions of the tiles, etc. You can create multiple non-overlapping tiling zones on the same floor, each having distinct properties and all associated with the same parent tiling.

Click on the tiling to which you want to add an associated tiling zone. Click on the Tiling drop-down menu in the left panel and select Add Tiling Zone. You will enter the Tiling Sketcher mode, where you may sketch the desired shape for your tiling and click on Apply to save changes.

Click on the tiling which you want to delete. Click on the Tiling drop-down menu in the left panel and select Delete Tiling Zone. This will delete only the tiling zone associated with the parent tile.

To delete the parent tile and all tiling zones associated with it, select Delete Tiling or hit the Delete key.
