How to create designs as per templates?

How to use existing templates and create new templates?

Pre-set templates help create uniformity of presentations across your organization. It also saves time and effort when it comes to setting the preferences in every new design. You can either use an existing template or create your own.

Use Existing Template

Start by clicking on the Start New Design thumbnail while inside a project. in the To use templates in Infurnia for your design, follow these steps:

  1. Start by being inside a project in Infurnia. You should be in a project where you want to create a new design.

  2. Within the project, click on the "Start New Design" thumbnail. This action will initiate the creation of a new design within the project.

  3. A "Template Selection" popup window will appear, displaying various tabs and templates.

  4. Initially, you will be directed to the "All Templates" tab, which shows all the templates available in your organization.

  5. To view the templates created by Infurnia, select the "Default Templates" tab.

  6. To view the templates created by your organization, select the "Org Templates" tab. These templates are specific to your organization.

  7. Once you've selected the appropriate tab (either "Default Templates" or "Org Templates"), you will see a collection of thumbnail images representing various templates.

  8. Locate the thumbnail of the template you want to use for your design.

  9. Click on the thumbnail of the desired template to use it as the starting point for your new design.

By following these steps, you can easily select and use templates to begin your design in Infurnia. Templates provide a structured starting point for your design project and can save you time and effort.

Create Custom Template

To create a template from a design in Infurnia, follow these steps:

  1. Start by locating the design that you want to turn into a template.

  2. Click on the "Hamburger button," typically represented by three horizontal lines or dots, located at the top right corner of the thumbnail of the design you want to make a template from. This button will open a menu of options.

  3. Within the menu, click on "Mark as Template."

  4. By clicking "Mark as Template," the selected design will be added as a template and each time you create a new design, you will get this as a template option under Org Templates.

Delete Custom Template

To delete a template in Infurnia, follow these steps:

  1. Start by locating the design file you had marked as template and want to unmark.

  2. Click on the "Hamburger button," typically represented by three horizontal lines or dots, located at the top right corner of the thumbnail of the template you wish to delete. This button will open a menu of options.

  3. Within the menu, click on "Unmark as Template."

  4. By clicking "Unmark as Template," the selected design will be removed from the organization-made templates.

  5. By following these steps, you can easily delete a template in Infurnia. Please note that this action will remove the template from the organization's templates, and it will no longer be available for use as a starting point for new designs.
