How to navigate the design in 3D view

Navigation using Mouse/Touchpad

In 3D, you can navigate the design area using the mouse/touchpad in the following ways:

  1. To zoom in/out, scroll your your mouse wheel or pinch/swipe on the touchpad.

  2. To pan the scene in any direction, press and hold Shift+ mouse scroll wheel, or right-click the touchpad. Then move the mouse/touchpad to pan.

  3. To rotate the scene, press and hold the mouse scroll wheel, or press Shift+ left-click the touchpad. Then move the mouse/touchpad to rotate.

Navigation using Keyboard

In 3D, you can also navigate using your keyboard -

  1. To rotate the camera in the scene in any direction, press Shift+ any of the arrow keys of your keyboard.

  2. To move the camera forward/backward/right/left in the scene, press Shift+ W/S/D/A keys respectively of your keyboard.

  3. To move the camera higher/lower in the scene, press Shift+ Q/E keys respectively of your keyboard.

Navigation using Navigation Sphere

You can also use the navigation sphere in 3D to go to some standard view points. To see the design from front-on, click on the Front button on the Navigation sphere. To go to the top view, click on the Top button, etc.

To see the different buttons, use your mouse to rotate the scene till part of the required button is visible. Then click on that button.
